How to Beat the Heat
Summer in the Midwest can be brutal with the hot sun and high humidity taking its toll on everyone. The pace of work slows and hydration becomes critical. Our crews are used to battling through this heat and know that drinking plenty of water is the key. Events and other applications for tents slow down during the hottest days of summer, but tents are still a viable solution. Our tents are made from a blockout fabric meaning they do not let any natural light in through the fabric. This will help create a cooler environment by providing true shade. Other accessories are available to help alleviate or eliminate the heat. Ceiling and portable fans are a simple and cost effective option for most clients. Misters and evaporate coolers are another option, but do not perform very well under high humidity situations. The best solution and the only way to truly eliminate the heat is with forced air air conditioning. This is the most expensive option, but offers a true solution regardless of how hot and humid it may be. Contact Traube tent to find out what solution works best for you and your next tent rental or purchase 800-352-8368.
